Privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026 · Applies to scenella.com and the Scenella app.
What we collect
Your email, the listing links and photos you give us, what you do inside the app, and the payment reference our processor hands back. We never ask you for anything about a buyer or a seller.
We collect the account email you sign in with, the listing links and photos you import or upload, the property details attached to a listing, the actions you take inside the product such as starting a render or approving a share page, and the payment reference our payment processor sends back after a charge. We collect your email and your use of the product because we cannot run your account or bill you without them. We collect listing photos and details because rendering the Kit is the product. We never ask you for anything about a buyer or a seller, and we do not knowingly collect information about anyone other than the person using the account.
Photos and video
Photos you import or upload stay yours. We store the originals, the enhanced versions and the rendered video so you can come back to a listing for twelve months. Nothing you upload is used to train a public model.
Photos you import or upload are stored together with the enhanced versions and the rendered video, under your account, so you can return to a listing for twelve months. Rendering is carried out on our behalf by the infrastructure providers described below, under contract, for the sole purpose of producing your Kit. We do not yet publish the list of those companies by name; we will name each of them here before this policy is treated as final. Nothing you upload is used to train a public model, by us or by any company we work with.
Why we use it
To render your videos, to email you the moment one is ready, and to bill you. Anonymous visit totals, described in the cookies section, are always counted. Records of what your account does, such as the videos you render and download, are kept as part of the service. Any other measurement of how you use Scenella follows your cookie choices.
We use your data for three things: to render your videos, to email you when one is ready, and to bill you for what you use. Anonymous visit totals, described in the cookies section, are always counted. Records of what your account does, such as the videos you render and download, are kept as part of the service. Any other measurement of how you use Scenella follows your cookie choices. Where we rely on your consent for a particular use, you can withdraw it at any time and we will stop that use going forward.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data to data brokers. Ad partners such as Meta receive events for your visits, signups, trial starts, checkout starts and purchases — with your email address, account id and country only in hashed form, plus your IP address and browser details — to help us measure our ads. Where the law requires it, we send these only with your consent; otherwise we send them until you opt out, including through your browser's Global Privacy Control. For visitors in the EU and UK, Meta acts as a joint controller for this processing.
Other companies help us run Scenella: they store your files, run the rendering pipeline, take payments and host the app. Each is bound by contract to use your data only to do that job for us, never for their own purposes. We do not sell your data to data brokers. We are finalizing the list of these companies, their roles and their locations, and we will publish it here, by name, before this policy is treated as final.
Fraud prevention
To prevent trial abuse, we store a normalized form of your email address, a one-way hashed version of your IP address, a random device identifier stored in a cookie, the card fingerprint our payment processor gives us when you start a trial (an identifier, never the card number) and, for free tours only, a perceptual fingerprint of the photos you upload (not the photos themselves). These are used only to detect the same person starting multiple trials or free tours. We keep the card fingerprint while your account exists; after you delete your account we keep only a one-way hash of it, for 12 months. The other signals are kept for 24 months (grants) or while your free tour exists plus 12 months (photo fingerprints). This cookie is necessary for the service to function and is not part of the optional analytics cookies described above.
How long we keep it
Listings, kits, share pages and the original photos are removed when you delete them or close your account. Billing records stay for as long as tax law requires.
We keep your listings, Kits, share pages and the photos behind them for as long as your account is active, so you can return to a listing and edit it again. If you delete a listing or close your account, we remove that content; we are still fixing and testing the exact number of days that takes, and we will state it here once it is settled rather than promise a figure we have not built. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than the rest.
Referral and commission records are financial records, so we keep them after you delete your account, the same as billing records. The IP address and device hashes attached to a referral are removed twelve months after they are recorded, even though the referral itself stays on file.
Your rights
Ask for a copy, ask for a correction, ask us to delete all of it. Email us and a person answers, usually the same day.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you the right to ask what data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy in a portable format, to object to certain uses, and to withdraw consent at any time. Wherever you are, you can ask us for any of these and we will act on it. The way to ask, today, is to email hello@scenella.com; we will confirm who is asking before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within one month, the standard the GDPR sets. If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have not handled your data lawfully, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
International transfers
Scenella is built for the United States, Canada and Europe, so some of the companies we rely on may sit outside the country you are in, including outside the EEA.
Scenella is built for the United States, Canada and Europe, so some of the companies that store or process your data on our behalf may be outside the country you are in, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens for a user in the EEA or the UK, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard recognized under the GDPR or UK GDPR to cover the transfer. We will name each processor's location alongside the list referred to above.
Security
Encrypted in transit and at rest, access limited to the people who need it to do their job, and a review of who has access every quarter.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to it is limited to the people who need it to do their job, and we review who has that access regularly. We do not yet publish a breach-notification timeline; if a security incident affects your data we will notify affected users and any authority the law requires without undue delay, and we will state our specific timeline here once it is set.
People on our team may watch the videos you create, for support, quality control and abuse prevention.
Changes and contact
If we change something that affects you, we email you before it takes effect.
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect. The company operating Scenella is Granviex LLC; its registered contact details will be published here, and until then the way to reach us about this policy is hello@scenella.com.
Questions about your data: hello@scenella.com
We email you about your account: sign-in codes, and notices about your videos and listings. Unless you turn it off, we also send tips on getting the most out of Scenella and, if you choose to receive them, occasional offers on credits. You can turn tips and offers on or off any time, in Settings or from the footer of any email. Account and billing notices always continue. Emails we send may record when you click a link, so we can see which emails are useful. We do not track opens.

Phone number
We ask for your phone number to print it on your video's closing card if you add it to your video in the Brand step, and to pre-fill your brand details. Outside the United States, we may also use it to send you service texts about your account, such as when your video is ready, because they are part of the service we provide under our contract. These texts will carry no marketing, and you will be able to reply STOP to any of them to stop. In the United States, we will text you only if you opt in, and you will be able to withdraw that in Settings at any time. You can change your number in Settings. To remove it, delete your account or email us. We keep it until you delete your account, and we delete it with the account.
